Students should be academically curious. Centre students are serious about learning because they want to understand the world. Strong applicants usually have a solid GPA, often in the A–B range, and have taken challenging courses like honors, AP, IB, or dual-enrollment classes. It’s not just about numbers; Centre is looking for students who love to ask questions and engage in class discussions. Students should want to be involved in a close-knit community. Centre values students who are active contributors to their community; people who show up, care about others, and want to make a difference. You don’t have to have done everything, but you should be able to show why your community involvement matters to you. Your essays and recommendations help show who you are beyond your test scores.
