Carolina Ramirez is delighted to serve as the Lead College Advisor for Bryan Adams High School. As an East Dallas native, she loves to work in the community that shaped her upbringing. After spending time in the Brazos Valley and in the cornfields of Iowa, Carolina received a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Iowa State University. Since 2020, she’s been in Dallas helping students and families with equity and access in mind.
Carolina believes higher education is an eye-opening, life changing, and powerful tool all students can and should benefit from. As a first-generation college student with experience in college admissions and first-year student success, she understands how the complex relationships between the education system and broader structures impact underrepresented students and their communities. She is passionate about guiding students through the college-going process, with the goal of empowering them to develop strong self-efficacy and self-advocacy skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
Beyond college access, you can find Carolina scoping out local coffee shops, traveling the world, seeing her favorite artists in concert, and spending time with friends and family.
Leonardo Garcia

Leonardo Garcia is proud to serve the East Dallas community as an ASP College Advisor. After graduating from Bryan Adams High School, Mr. Garcia attended Albion College, where he studied Communication Studies, Educational Studies, and Spanish: Latin American & Latino/a Studies.
As a high school senior, Mr. Garcia felt overwhelmed and confused by the college decision process, and recognized the impactful support offered by his ASP college advisors. With this in mind, he set off to study education and learn about the college admissions process. During college, he worked closely in his school’s admissions office as a tour guide and admissions assistant. After graduating from Albion College in 2022, Mr. Garcia worked as an admissions counselor and gained valuable insights into the world of college admissions. With his experiences and passion for student success, Mr. Garcia plans to empower students as they navigate this important time in their lives.
In his free time, Mr. Garcia enjoys working out, playing video games, and watching movies with his wife and two cats, Peggy and Queso.
Bailey Moore

Ms. Moore is very excited to be a part of the Bryan Adams ASP team! She has a bachelor’s degree in social science with a concentration in sociology from the University of North Texas.
During her time as a DISD student, Ms. Moore worked closely with her ASP advisor to find an accessible and affordable school. This is when Ms. Moore’s interest in high education accessibility bloomed, and was continued throughout her time as an undergraduate. She is passionate about disability advocacy inside and outside the classroom, as well as accessibility to higher education resources for all students.
In her free time, you can either find Ms. Moore at the local AMC watching the newest release, at Half Price Books looking for her next read, or at home with her cats, Grayson and Brisket.
