Claire Crook
IDEA High School

Students and Families: CLICK HERE to connect with Ms. Crook!

Claire Crook is really excited to continue her work as a College Advisor at Innovation, Design, and
Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA). She was born and raised in a small town in North Texas. She attended college at Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
She remembers feeling very ill prepared for the college admissions process and wished she had more
knowledge going into it. Because of that she is very passionate about helping as much as she can and
being there for her students. After her own experiences and struggles with the college application process, she is looking forward to guiding students and their families during their college endeavors. Her
goal is to help students and families feel more comfortable and at ease as they take this big step.
When Claire isn’t at work you can find her at a local coffee shop, out and about with her friends and
family, or cuddling with her dog Ren. She is a massive Harry Potter and Marvel movie fan, and you will
probably hear her quoting them randomly throughout the day.
