Lexus Davis is excited to serve as the College Advisor for Hillcrest High School. Originally from West Philadelphia, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Peace & Justice Studies from Gettysburg College.

Consistently asking the bigger questions of life, Lexus is always questioning institutional structures and looking for different solutions. Some examples include “how do I get to college” and “how do I succeed once I am there,” especially as someone who identifies as First-Gen. Lexus is an avid social justice advocate and is devoted to providing culturally diverse and underrepresented students the same opportunities afforded to her throughout her academic and professional career.

From cliff jumping in Nicaragua to wood carving in Indonesia, Lexus is like finding Waldo because who knows what her next adventure will be. When she is not off on an adventure, literally chasing waterfalls or editing essays, she is trying a new recipe, learning new dances, or painting.

Richard Grau
Students and Families: CLICK HERE to connect with Mr. Grau!

Richard Grau is so excited to provide guidance as a College Advisor at Hillcrest High School. Originally from The Woodlands, Texas, Richard’s college search journey led him to attending Trinity University in San Antonio, achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with minors in Theater and Strategic Communication.

At Trinity, Richard had an internship with the admissions office and worked as a campus tour guide which had him interacting first hand with hundreds of prospective college-seeking students. Through this, he gained interest in the inner workings of college admissions and was inspired to aid students in navigating the unintuitive nature of the college process. He is ready to assist students in locating the higher education opportunity that is the best fit for them.

Watching reality television, playing Nintendo games, or re-reading a nostalgic book are just a few of the ways Richard enjoys spending whatever free moments he has.
