Landon Finley is excited to serve as the ASP Lead College Advisor at South Oak Cliff High School. As a SOC and ASP alumnus, a first-generation college student, and a former Gates Millennium Scholar, Landon personally experienced the impact of intentional college advising and the transformative power of higher education. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Analytics & Consulting from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Arts in Creative and Innovative Education with a focus on Educational Entrepreneurship and Business from Georgia State University.
During his time at SOC, he was actively involved across campus and was honored to be recognized as one of the “Fab Four,” a distinction that remains especially meaningful to him. South Oak Cliff invested deeply into his growth, and returning to serve the school that helped shape his journey is both a personal and professional privilege. He is excited for this school year and looks forward to giving back to the community that gave so much to him.
Stephanie Rodriguez

Ms. Rodriguez is thrilled to join South Oak Cliff High School as an ASP advisor. She is a Dallas native, she was born and raised in Dallas and graduated from Skyline High School. She went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University – College Station.
After graduation, Ms. Rodriguez began working as a college advisor at a nonprofit organization. She then went on to work in Dallas ISD as a part of the Academic Success Program. This will be her first year at South Oak Cliff but it is her 3rd year working as an ASP Advisor. Her experience has taught her how to effectively advocate for students from marginalized communities. As a first-generation college student herself, she deeply understands the crucial role a college advisor plays in a student’s journey. Her top priority is to ensure students have the resources they need to succeed and pursue higher education.
Outside of college advising, Ms. Rodriguez enjoys taking long walks on the Katy Trail, trying new sushi restaurants, reading fiction books, sunbathing near the pool, and spending time with friends and family.
